On a Mission to Create 100 Faith-based Support Groups Across the US for Christian Women Impacted by Abuse
The Flourishing Soul Initiative is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization dedicated to coming alongside Christian women impacted Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), also known as spousal abuse.
1 in 3 women experience multiple forms of abuse within Christian marriages.
Most abuse is non-physical which include emotional, spiritual, verbal, and financial abuse. You may not see bruises but the impact of these types of abuse is damaging to the victim and often the children. This matters deeply to God.
Our vision is to partner with churches and faith-based organizations to reach our goal of establishing 100 trauma informed, Christ-centered support groups across the US.
We understand that abuse can be perpetrated by both men and women but due to the overwhelming data showing 84% of victims are women, our mission is focused on supporting female victims.

Who We Are
The Flourishing Soul Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to caring for Christian women experiencing emotional abuse in their marriage. Studies prove that emotional abuse causes extensive damage and harm to the victim's physical, neurological, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. We educate, advocate, and support them in their journey through Christ-centered, trauma informed support groups that are offered in-person and online.
